I love a simple color palette with pops of color.  Grey and white together is one of my favorite combinations all year round.  I found this top in Dallas for only $24 at Nordstrom and tried to get pics up ASAP of it because I knew it would sell out and it did!  They still have it in a rose color, but I tagged some similar options for you above.  I guess I need to get a little quicker!  I will keep checking and share on my instagram stories if they restock it.  It runs large, I am wearing an XS.  I added a cute statement earring and my new Tory Tote for some color.  This Tory Burch Seltzer tote is the perfect shade of light blue which happens to be my favorite color.  It was a Mother’s Day gift and I can’t wait to use it this summer!

It has been just over 2 weeks now since I started this blog and I want to thank everybody for the outpouring support and encouragement.  In starting this blog, I wanted to give people who follow some inspiration for both home and fashion.  It seems like things are starting to line up in our lives as we finally found a good lot and were able to get a contract on it last week.  We have been renting and holding out for the right land to build our forever home on.  The listing randomly fell into our laps late one night and we happened to be able to drive by it the next day.  We loved it and hoped it was still available, it was, so we put an offer in and it was accepted!  I will post more about our land and I will be documenting our home design and building process on my instagram stories #theeasternpine.  My instagram account is HERE
