My husband had a congressional meeting last week in DC. He is a financial advisor and attended a meeting about financial regulations. He is so amazing at what he does and I am so proud of him for being an influencer in his industry.
We were able to get about half a day to explore the city and we wanted to see as many monuments as we could. We were going to rent a segway but we just started walking and never stopped. It was really sunny and pretty hot but we were able to see several sights that day. Of course we had to attend a baseball game and were able to get amazing seats for $9 each…. I seriously think that was Ben’s favorite part of the whole trip. Cheap seats at a baseball game, a hot dog, and he is one happy camper. Go Nats!
I love my kids more than anything, but getting away for a few days to spend some time with Ben makes me so happy. Our kids are 2 and 4 and life is so busy right now…good, but busy. This trip was a breath of fresh air.
