Our first full day in Banff, we rented kayaks and boated on Bow river. The river is filled with glacier water that was super chilly. It was such a surreal experience seeing how beautiful and calm the water was.
We have been vacationing with these friends for years. Leigh Ann and I grew up together in Longview, TX where we went to church together since we were babies. We even have photos of us in the same cradle roll class….we go WAY back and reconnected after college when I did her and Blair’s engagement photos several years ago. I feel so blessed with her friendship. She gets me and all of my craziness. Her husband, Blair, is an Alabama native and southern boy through and through. They are actually starting their own T shirt line called Southern Hollow in honor of his grandfathers legacy. (We actually fit in a photoshoot for their products on the last day of our trip.) They are such an awesome couple and we ALWAYS have a good time. All together we have been to St. John, Charleston, road tripping to the Alabama A&M football game (when Johnny football was amazing that was seriously the best football game I have ever seen,) Beaver Creek/Vail, Vegas, and now Banff! Wow I can’t believe that we have done that many trips…. I feel so blessed to get to see so much of the world and hold all of the memories we have made dear to my heart.
