I wanted to share some iPhone pics with you guys of our short trip to DC! I had mentioned on my instastories that I would do a Q. and A. but never got around to it! I was too busy sleeping in and shopping lol. I did have a lot of free time to myself since Ben was in meetings all week and I will share some try on session with you guys because YOU KNOW your girl took advantage of that Georgetown shopping and will share with you guys the IRL thoughts on some of springs newest arrivals! That will be later this week, but the reason we have been going to DC every year is because Ben is on a select financial advisors committee that meets yearly with congress members and staff to discuss the financial industry regulations.
This year we stayed in a place called the Willard InterContinental which was very close to the White House. I had admired the architecture from the outside last year and was so excited to get to stay in it. It was beautiful and, like everything in DC, very stately and fancy. When Ben was working, I went for a morning jog around the reflection pond by the Lincoln Memorial and ran by the Washington Monument and of course, the While House….didn’t run into President Trump like I was hoping to….figured he would be out watering the lawn 🙂
It was wonderful to get away and spend some kid free time together! The weather was beautiful and, even though the cherry blossoms weren’t blooming just yet, it was amazing!
